Stories About My Pasha, Me and Other Furries

Here is the second Excerpt from "Pasha" on Helen Hollick's Blog:

https://ofhistoryandkings.blogspot.com/2021/06/friday-furries-pasha-again.html

Read the first story here:

Pasha's is only one among many entertaining stories about shelter cats and dogs, their individuals traits and the happy days when they realize they are being adopted.

Of course, Pasha does get center stage. He was my foster-failure - that's when the foster parent turns adopter. I still miss him.

KHAMSIN - An Indie B.R.A.G. Medallion Honoree

Sometimes, one's day doesn't go so well and we feel down for one reason or another - or for no reason at all (we writers tend to be a susceptible lot).

But in 2016, I opened my e-mail.

                                      And there it was:

The coveted
B.R.A.G. Medallion,
awarded to
Khamsin
for Historical Fiction

Khamsin, The Devil Wind of The Nile now joins the ranks of outstanding
indie authors whose historical fiction novels
have been vetted and approved by the
B.R.A.G. reviewers and judges.

Talk about a shot in the arm. I am a happy camper again!

You can check out and hopefully will even buy these excellent novels by award-winning authors directly through the B.R.A.G. website:
www.bragmedallion.com

As a reminder, Khamsin as well as its four sequels are now again available from Smashwords, Kobo, Barnes & Noble, and Apple's iTunes as an e-book, as well as in paperback from Amazon.

I still smile when I see the B.R.A.G. Medallion on Khamsin's Cover.

Beware of Meeting Strangers

In December 2018

Discovering Diamonds Reviews

Helen Hollick’s historical fiction blog featured a month of song and stories.

For this fun event, selected authors wrote a new short story each,
inspired by a song.

Mine was on December 13th and features my handsome Brit Edward who makes the ladies swoon  - and then fork over money and gifts in the process.
In short, he’s the most charming confidence trickster.

Can you guess the Song for the immediately smitten Helen (no, not Helen Hollick) spotting Edward in a famous hotel bar in Coronado, California?

Edward, one of my "Bad Boys"
is quite the charmer in California -
until he meets Betsy Bunting.
He persuades her to take him to Cairo -
  and his plans change.
